The engine onboard Steamboat Sirius

Steamboat Sirius twin cylinder steam engine
The port side of the steamship's twin cylinder steam engine. The engine was built in 1895 by Simpsons & Denison UK.
The two cylinders are of equal size and therefore the steam just expands only one time. Twin cylinder steam engines are not very common since engines with two cylinders mostly are compound engines, where the steam expands in two steps.

Steamesteem means that I like steam boilers and steamships, paddle steamers as well as screw-propelled steamships.
