The Steamship Skjelskør was delivered to the owner "Dampskibsselskabet Skjelskør" immediately after the trial trip and put in service on the route between the city Skjelskør and the islands Agersø and Omø.

Klug's reversing gear

Klug's valve-gearhas a horizontal eccentric rod suspended in a pendulum and the eccentric rods end is by means of a link connected to the slide valve rod. Changing the pendulums suspension point changes the engine's rotation.
