Steamship Oster at quay in Gothenburg

The Steamship Oster moored outside the
steamship whaler Southern Actor at quay in Gothenburg.

"Oster" is not a random name. The steamship was built to transport important gods and passengers, deliver milk to the dairies and distribute mail in the Oster-fiord region.

the intermediate pressure slide valve chest,
the high pressure cylinder,
the high pressure slide valve chest, the latter is a round slide valve, hardly visible on the picture.
