Steam boiler onboard SS Blidösund
Coal fired Scotch fire tube boiler with three furnaces.
The stoker is banking up the furnace, i.e., he packs embers and coals tight together so they don't burn but smoulder. Next morning there will be sufficient live coal to start up the fire again.

Steam engine with Flodmans reversing link motion
The reciprocating compound steam engine. The crosshead and the connecting rod for the high pressure piston and also eccentric sheaves and reversing motion links for both pistons.
The Flodman reversing link motion works very much like the Klug reversing gear.
